Due to Deviantart's choice to support art theft via AI, automatically enrolling all your art to be used by 3rd parties and forcing you to prove your identity and fill out a form to opt out of DreamUp, I have made the difficult decision to leave this platform for good once the opt out confirmation returns. Over the next several days, I'll be removing my artwork from my gallery. I am do disappointed that in the midst of Twitter going to pot, that DA decides NOW would be a great time to push away the opportunity to gain back all its lost base who left for Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram all those years ago. They had a prime opportunity to recapture being the true leader in the art community but decided that AI art is the future over us real, living, breathing artists. Being an adult is rough, I know. I often wish I could have stayed a child forever. And I know I don't have nearly as busy a life as you probably do, so I hope that didn't sound flippant. Please just remember that everyone understands. Don't worry about making art for the sake of updating. Just do what you have time for and what you feel comfortable doing! If you have no time to do art at all, there is nothing wrong with that. I just hope you do at least have time to rest. Take care of yourself!
